Israel offers a broad range of quality art and cultural events to foreign visitors of all tastes. There are several museums which feature impressive local artwork and from around the world.

If its music that your heart desires you can easily find chamber music, recitals, jazz, symphony concerts all over the country. Also Israel houses famous ballet and dance companies.

In addition Israel is the "Broadway" of the Middle East. In particular Tel Aviv is called "the Big Orange" in reference to New York being described as "the Big Apple". It similarly offers an exciting 24-hour nightlife with a wide array of discos, cafes, restaurants and bars.
